The Friends operate a used book sale area in the library basement and hold public sales approximately every other month. To prepare for these sales, volunteers process and shelve donated items. Sorts are a great opportunity to socialize, chat about books, and help your library.

Paper Airplanes: Learn about aerodynamics by designing paper airplanes to see how drag affects the distance that the planes will fly. Learn how the shape of the plane is affected by gravity, weight, lift and thrust.
