SALADS FROM AROUND THE WORLD: WEEK 5
The Mediterranean salad features romaine, mixed tender greens and herbs, whole chickpeas, chopped cucumbers and tomatoes, whole Greek olives, diced red onion, chiffonade basil, and optional feta cheese and herbed croutons, with aged-sherry vinegar and honey vinaigrette, housemade blue cheese, or housemade ranch dressing.
IN HONOR OF ST. PATRICK'S DAY
SOUP: Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage with flat-cut corned beef, Yukon gold potatoes, carrots, celery, white onion, and green cabbage in vegetable stock (dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free).
SANDWICH: The Cafe's Special Reuben with corned beef, crunchy cabbage and mixed veggie slaw dressed with a sweet-and-sour vinaigrette, Swiss cheese, and Dijon mustard on sourdough bread, toasted or cold. Available Wednesday, March 17 only.
