AdultProgram Description
Details
Discuss the needs, concerns, and opportunities that are frequently experienced by siblings of people with disabilities, and how Sibshops and other practical strategies can support them. Caregivers for children with disabilities and a typically developing child may wonder about the typically developing child’s experience as a sibling. Siblings are in a unique position to be lifelong advocates for the needs of their brothers and sisters with disabilities, and information and support at an early age are important. Led by adult siblings of people with disabilities who are trained Sibshop facilitators. For caregivers of children with disabilities.
