Program Description
Details
A Human Library is an event to facilitate dialogue and understanding between people. Register for hour-long sessions to browse book descriptions and “check out” Books—community members who have volunteered to share their experiences based on disability, race, religion, sexual preference, class, gender identity, disability, or another aspect of their lives. Book “check outs” will take place in the library and will be 20-30-minute discussions of experiences that may be different from the readers’ own. For high school and older.
