Karen Hall, Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society, will examine the origins of celebrating Christmas with trees by looking at different types of trees, ornaments, and lighting used on Christmas trees throughout history. Discuss famous trees, such as the National Christmas Tree and the Rockefeller Center Tree and compare international Christmas tree traditions.
