Friends Book Sort

The Friends operate a used book sale area in the library basement and hold public sales approximately every other month. To prepare for these sales, volunteers process and shelve donated items. Sorts are a great opportunity to socialize, chat about books, and help your library.

Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and learn about Felicity and the American Revolution through crafts and other hands-on activities. Bring your own doll or stuffed animal to join the fun.

America250

America250 is the national commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It's an opportunity to reflect on how the past 250 years, guided by the belief that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,” have made the United States of America what it is today.

Promotion
