The Friends operate a used book sale area in the library basement and hold public sales approximately every other month. To prepare for these sales, volunteers process and shelve donated items. Sorts are a great opportunity to socialize, chat about books, and help your library.

Join neighbors to socialize while completing puzzles, playing card and board games, or working on coloring crafts. Light refreshments provided.
Learn about famous artists and make art in their medium or style. Artists include painter Earnest Lee, the quilters of Gee’s Bend, and print artist Gwen Frostic. For grades 3-5.
Learn guitar basics from guitarist John Wolaver in an eight-week session in a friendly group setting. Please bring your own guitar. Optionally, participate in a Guitar Performance after the session ends. For age 16 and up.
The final meeting on December 20 will be a performance.
